Job Description
Westbrook Dental Group Keewatin location is currently looking for new enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking, and passionate staff members who have a passion for dental health, interpersonal and communication skills to start immediately! We are seeking out individuals available for day, evening, and Saturdays shifts. Newly graduates are welcome. Eligible candidates will be contacted Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and dependable
- Ability to work collaborative and independently
- Tech savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and programs (Maxident)
- Member of Manitoba Dental Assisting Association
- Greeting patients
- Answering the phone
- Preparing patients for dental procedures
- Sterilizing dental instruments and Sanitizing dental equipment
- Preparing and sanitizing the dental examination room
- Assisting the dentist during procedures ( passing instruments, getting supplies, and suctioning )
- Assisting with dental x-rays and lab work
- Instructing patients on dental hygiene and proper care
- Booking and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Keeping patient records
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- Vision care
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Signing bonus
All patients and staff are required to wear masks, social distancing is observed, controlled patient entry/exit, operatories sanitized after every patient, all common areas sanitized regularly. Licence/Certification:
- Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
