We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies for procedures
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, including orthodontic and pediatric cases
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
Qualifications
Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Dentrix, and CAD systems
Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is preferred but not required
Strong understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Certification or licensing in dental assisting is Mandatory
