Job Overview
Dr. Cam Roberts is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join his dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This office is privately owned and operated. Enjoy working 4 days per week? We do too plus no evenings or weekends.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Dentrix an asset) Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but a newer grad is welcome also
Proficiency in using Dentrix dental software systems is highly desirable Certification in dental assisting is mandatoryJoin our team and contribute to creating beautiful smiles while advancing your career in the dental field!Job Type: Full-time
