Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interaction.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and update information in dental software systems such as Tracker. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Familiarity with dental software - Tracker Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Experience in specialized areas such as Orthodontics or Pediatrics is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is required Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. 3-4 Days per week
