Summary

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Green Meadows Dental. This role is essential in supporting our dental practitioners and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. The Dental Assistant will play a key role in patient interactions, assisting with procedures, and managing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office.

Requirements

Completion of a Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Experience with Cleardent software is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pediatric experience is an asset but not mandatory.
