We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a comfortable experience for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory in compliance with health regulations. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and excellent patient care.

Requirements

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus. Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is beneficial but not mandatory. Proficiency in using dental software such as Cleardent is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred
