We are looking to add a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to our dynamic team, who loves to care for children and their families!

Practice Hours:

Are you wanting a great work-life balance? We only work Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM- 2:00 PM, NO evenings or weekends!!

The opportunity:

As an enthusiastic Dental Assistant, you have the opportunity to join our growing Pediatric practice! You are compassionate and have great interpersonal skills. You have a passion for helping patients gain confidence with dental procedures to ensure a great experience! You do this by being self-motivated, team-oriented and by paying exceptional attention to detail. You are skilled at chair side assisting, instrument processing, customer service and you are familiar with Dentrix.

Responsibilities:

Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation & sterilization Establishing strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour Cleaning and preparing treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient Working well in a fast-paced environment Being flexible and creative in approaches to give personalized, individual care to each patient Being accurate with charting and having excellent clinical skills Making each child/family feel cared for Thoroughly addressing concerns professionally and compassionately

Requirements:

Registered Dental Assistant Experience with Dentrix preferred Self starter and highly motivated Great attention to detail Experience in Pediatric dental environment preferred, but new graduates welcome Arabic, Punjabi, or Spanish communication skills would be an asset, but not necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Licence:

Dental Assistant (Required) CPR certified

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
