Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our privately own Centre Street Dental Clinic. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Chinese language an assest
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35-40 per week, no evenings. Saturdays required
