We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Prior experience with dental software such as Epic or Dentrix, as well as knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Provide chairside support by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic or Dentrix
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Support the dental receptionist with appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out processes
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including medical terminology standards
Requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Proficiency in dental software such as Epic or Dentrix is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
Experience with CAD systems for digital imaging is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional certifications in orthodontics or pediatrics are advantageous

Pay: $19.33-$24.00 per hour
