Job Description

Our new and growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) to join our dynamic and collaborative team.

We provide a range of rehabilitation and wellness services including physiotherapy, massage therapy, occupational therapy, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation programming for clients with more complex needs. About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, providing assessment and counselling services to clients with a variety of mental health and rehabilitation-related challenges. The RCT will have the flexibility to build their own caseload and work closely with other clinicians to deliver integrated, holistic care.

Caseloads may include:

Clients participating in multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs (e.g., mental health, pain management, trauma recovery) Individuals referred for short- and long-term counselling needs Collaborative treatment plans alongside Occupational Therapists and other professionals
We are open to both full-time and part-time options, and will consider either employee or independent contractor arrangements, depending on the candidate's preference.

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) Valid professional liability insurance Experience or interest in working within a multidisciplinary environment Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain a client-centered, evidence-based approach
