About the Role



Restore Psychology is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our growing private practice as a part-time contractor. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with adult in a private practice setting and committed to providing evidence-based, client-centered care. Our practice is fully virtual and offers the flexibility to work fully from home.

Key Qualifications



Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) Holds (or is willing to obtain) valid liability and malpractice insurance. Successful completion of a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. Passionate about supporting adults with evidence-based care. Training in more than one therapeutic modality (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.). Specialized training in EMDR, ART, or somatic practices considered a strong asset. Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred Experience working with diverse adult clients and presenting concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, and related issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and client-centered care. Flexible availability, including at least one evening or weekend shift per week. Comfort with teletherapy tools, secure note-keeping, and virtual care platforms (e.g., Jane, Owl, or equivalent).

Required Skills and Experience



Ability to build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with diverse clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice. Familiarity with ethical and legal standards in psychological practice (CPA Code of Ethics, PHIPA/HIPAA compliance). Ability to work independently while also engaging in collaborative consultation.
