Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
Administer basic client care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with medications as directed.
Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, especially those with dementia or cognitive impairments.
Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of client care techniques and senior care best practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable (training may be provided).
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
