Role Summary
The Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) will deliver full-time in-home services for children requiring behaviour intervention and skill development. The successful candidate will design and implement evidence-based behaviour intervention plans, train caregivers/parents, supervise therapy staff, collect and analyze data, and ensure high-quality, ethical services according to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and design behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each child.
Work in the home setting (and possibly related environments) providing direct service delivery and supervision of therapy staff.
Train and collaborate with parents/caregivers in the implementation of BIPs and skill-acquisition programs.
Monitor treatment fidelity, collect, enter and analyze data, adjust programs as needed.
Ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario) standards, best practices in ABA, and company policies.
Provide regular progress reporting to families and internal stakeholders; participate in team meetings and professional development.
Travel within Mississauga and surrounding areas as required.
Qualifications
Current registration as an RBA with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (or eligibility to register).
Master's degree (preferred) in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience delivering ABA services to children with developmental disabilities (autism spectrum disorder preferred).
Demonstrated ability to conduct FBAs, design BIPs, supervise staff, train caregivers, and manage data collection/analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills: able to work independently in-home settings, collaborate with families, adapt to dynamic environments.
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel within the service area.
