Barrantes & Associates Inc. is seeking a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) who is committed to empowering individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mental health needs, and dual diagnoses to reach their personal goals. This role combines expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with strong leadership, collaboration, and program development skills to enhance client outcomes and organizational quality.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of community-based programs, ensuring all practices align with ethical standards, evidence-informed approaches, and Ministry requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Intervention
Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized behaviour intervention plans.
Review and interpret assessment data to create and maintain treatment documents including Antecedent Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, Plans of Care, and Individualized Support Plans.
Implement and supervise evidence-based behavioural strategies.
Provide direct intervention and crisis support using appropriate behaviour management techniques.
Continuously evaluate program effectiveness, monitor data trends, and adjust strategies as required.
Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistent and effective service delivery.
Program & Community Development
Design and deliver community-based programs and initiatives in partnership with team members and leadership.
Work alongside Directors to enhance group home, day program, and recreational services tailored to client needs.
Complete regular site visits to assess program quality, maintenance, and overall client well-being.
Support ongoing updates to program policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices, MCCSS, and CYFSA standards.
Assist with resource planning and budgeting to maintain sustainable, high-quality programs.
Provide support to the organization's After-Hours program when needed.
Training, Supervision & Leadership
Develop and facilitate clinical training, workshops, and educational materials on ABA principles and intervention strategies.
Offer coaching, mentorship, and professional learning opportunities to staff.
Provide constructive feedback and acknowledge staff achievements to maintain a positive, supportive culture.
Oversee and guide staff performance to promote accountability, engagement, and teamwork.
Collaboration & Communication
Maintain open, professional communication with staff, families, and community partners.
Work collaboratively with Directors to support cohesive service delivery and alignment between clinical and operational goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders to support integrated, high-quality care.
Professionalism & Compliance
Demonstrate high standards of care, professionalism, and compassion in all interactions.
Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality expectations, and professional conduct requirements.
Ensure compliance with MCCSS, CYFSA, and all relevant organizational and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate, organized, and current documentation related to client data, assessments, and program activities.
Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on emerging best practices.
Qualifications
Certification:
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and/or Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in good standing.
Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) is considered an asset.
Education:
Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience supporting individuals with ASD, dual diagnoses, and complex behaviours.
Demonstrated ability to manage behavioural programs, provide clinical oversight, and train multidisciplinary teams.
Tier 1 - Junior Clinical Manager:0-5 years of relevant experience.
Tier 2 - Senior Clinical Manager:5+ years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, practices, and methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle for community travel.
Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$87,000.00 per year
