Barrantes & Associates Inc. is currently seeking a

Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA)

who is dedicated to empowering individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mental health challenges, and dual diagnoses to achieve their personal goals. This position blends expertise in

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

with strong leadership, collaboration, and program development skills to enhance client outcomes and organizational quality.

The successful candidate will assist in the design and implementation of community-based programs, ensuring all practices align with ethical standards, evidence-based approaches, and Ministry guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Intervention



Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized behaviour intervention plans. Analyze assessment data to create and maintain treatment plans, including Antecedent Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, Plans of Care, and Individualized Support Plans. Implement and supervise evidence-based behavioural interventions. Provide direct intervention and support during crisis situations, using appropriate behaviour management techniques. Continuously assess program effectiveness, review data trends, and make necessary adjustments for ongoing improvement. Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective support delivery.

Program & Community Development



Design and implement community-based programs and initiatives in collaboration with team members and leadership. Partner with Directors to enhance group home, day program, and recreational activities tailored to client needs. Conduct regular site visits to monitor program quality, maintenance, and client well-being. Support ongoing review and refinement of program policies and procedures to maintain compliance with best practices, MCCSS, and CYFSA standards. Collaborate on resource planning and budgeting to ensure sustainable, high-quality programs. Provide support for the organization's After-Hours program when required.

Training, Supervision & Leadership



Develop and deliver clinical training, workshops, and educational materials for staff on ABA principles and intervention techniques. Offer coaching, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities to team members. Provide regular feedback and recognize staff achievements to foster a positive and supportive work culture. Oversee and guide staff performance, promoting accountability, engagement, and collaboration.

Collaboration & Communication



Maintain open and effective communication with staff, families, and external partners. Work closely with Directors to ensure cohesive service delivery and alignment between clinical and operational goals. Build and sustain strong relationships across departments and community stakeholders to promote integrated, high-quality care.

Professionalism & Compliance



Uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, and compassion in all interactions. Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times. Ensure compliance with MCCSS, CYFSA, and all relevant organizational and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate, organized, and current documentation for client data, assessments, and program activities. Engage in continuing education and stay current with emerging best practices in the field.

Qualifications



Certification:



Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and/or Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in good standing. Active registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) is considered an asset.

Education:



Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field.

Experience:



Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with ASD, dual diagnoses, and complex behaviours. Proven ability to manage behavioural programs, provide clinical oversight, and train multidisciplinary teams.

Tier 1 - Junior Clinical Manager:

0-5 years of relevant experience.

Tier 2 - Senior Clinical Manager:

5+ years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong understanding of ABA principles, methods, and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Other Requirements:



Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle for community travel. Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$87,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
