Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Regional Training Manager to join our Toyota University (TU) team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity located at our Prairie Zone office and will report to the Product Education Manager.
This individual will deliver product training and resources to Toyota dealers to assist them in effectively selling Toyota products, services and technology to drive vehicle sales and to enhance customer experience. This individual will collaborate closely with the Zone offices and various departments within TCI to build dealer engagement and promote a high-performance culture.

What You'll be Doing:Deliver Toyota product, technology and competitive training to Toyota Dealers through in-dealership training, Zone regional training, National training events and virtual training Collaborate with Zone Manager, Zone Sales Manager and Parts & Service Manager to identify dealer and regional training opportunities, develop training action plans and to produce training summaries for Zone team to follow-up Utilize available reports and information to identify dealer and regional sales training gaps/opportunities Develop training material/resources for dealership staff to support regional requirements Plan and implement regional training sessions (non-national) Obtain appropriate competitive product for research and training purposes. Stay abreast of the latest Toyota product changes and technology to deliver most up-to-date training to dealerships Conduct ongoing research of product knowledge for competitors to assess the products in the market Track key KPIs (Dealership Product Readiness Score, Virtual Training Attendance, TU Points for Presidents Program Reporting for Dealers, Zones and TU as required Attend Toyota Motors North America (TMNA) training, complete research, develop and create Toyota Canada product training material to deliver to Toyota Dealership Staff Work with TU and Product Planning (PPD) teams to establish a competitive set for specific Toyota vehicles Create relevant materials that will provide Toyota dealership staff with the knowledge to sell Toyota vehicles vs. the competition Develop and provide non-dealer related product training at the request of other TCI Departments. Initiate and implement appropriate 'kaizen' (continuous improvement) efforts which results in work efficiencies relating to cost reduction or avoidance, improved time and process efficiencies Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to lock in and measure incremental success of training programs

What You'll Bring:University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration/Commerce or another field 3 to 5 years automotive auto industry especially, automotive product and/or retail or wholesale sales Previous experience in the field of adult training or facilitation Experience with facilitating presentations required Strong communication - written and verbal Superior organization management including project management (certification not required) Team Player -experience building and sustaining credibility with dealers, zone staff and TU team members Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint, Excel and Virtual Training platforms Work flexibility - (travel requirements, work schedule, etc.) Must be able to travel within Canada and the USA to deliver and receive product training Valid Canadian Driver's License is required
