Regional Training Coordinator

Job Description

QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal energy consumption of commercial and residential properties. We have offices in BC, Calgary, and Toronto and have a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.

QMC is seeking a Training Coordinator who will work closely with the HR Director to assess training needs, assessing gaps, creating training plans to our growing workforce. The training Coordinator will work with our Managers to ensure training and assessments are planned and executed as per Operational and Quality requirements.

Develop and maintain onboarding training process for new hires and transfers Work with QA Manager to apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness for the purposes of quality processes Maintain the Training matrix, platform (Absorb) and SharePoint maintenance. Schedule and monitor employee job assessments in alignment with the training matrix. Schedule and facilitate (when necessary) mandatory training, as per Group and/or local site requirements. Develop and maintain Training Checklists. Coordinate the Training Request and Authorization processes. Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers. Schedule and support on-site and off-site training by external suppliers. Handle logistics for training activities Keep up to date on training design and methodology best practices. Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness. Assist HR with projects such as the company newsletters, surveys and various assignments.

Experience



2+ years of experience in Learning and Development, with at least 1 year overseeing training activities. Knowledge of instructional design principles and training technologies (e.g., LMS, eLearning platforms) Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing training programs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to employees at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and business impact. Above average skills in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools; advanced experience with LMS and eLearning software is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
