Regional Strategic Marketing Manager (Canola) - Calgary, Canada (2301200) - Calgary, AB
Where the Chemistry Happens?
As a Regional S&T Strategy Leader, you will work as a collaborative bridge between Global strategy and country businesses. The role will contribute critical thinking, subject matter expertise, and thought leadership to the country business balancing the priorities of the 4-10 year business outlook.
Formula for Success: You Will?

• Using deep regional seed & trait market knowledge, act as consultation partner on development of long-term strategy balancing global priorities with regional market realties.

• Providing direct support to Seed & Trait Regional Business teams for mid/short term responsibilities, offering perspective and recommendations on operational business models/GTM, product pricing guardrails, profit development, customer experience, mid-term business value, trait pricing etc.

• Interpreting market research and bringing forward key insights to shape the future of the canola business in North America. Consult on operational business questions and challenges to drive meaningful business outcomes that align with mid-term strategy.

• Negotiating/maintaining relationship with regional strategic partners.

• Coordinating within APN region for the development of crop systems strategy that includes canola seed with crop protection, sustainability, and digital solutions.

Qualifications
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You?

• Bachelor?s Degree is required in a Life Science or Business field.

• Experience in a global or regional position with commercial seed and trait related experience required.

• Experience with crop protection in production agriculture a plus.

• Experienced with at least one major North American row crop required.

• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.

• 3 plus years? progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated competency in strategic and analytical thinking.

• Marketing and or sales background, including experience with contract basics and legal framework, for licensing and development of contract relationships.
