We are the leading Canadian company enabling businesses to accept QR code-based digital payment methods such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, and China UnionPay. We also help businesses take payments made with traditional methods such as Visa and Mastercard. In addition, we provide value-added services such as marketing and e-commerce through our platforms and other partners. We have completed Series C funding.
We are looking for Regional Sales Managers to support our business growth. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for organizing, supervising, and supporting our sales team. They will also be responsible for creating plans and sales strategies to help the department reach its goals and ensure we are serving our clients well. The ideal candidate has experience in merchant sales as well as managing a remote team.
There are open positions for West Coast Region, Central Region and East Coast Region. This is a full-time position, permanent position.

How you will contribute:

• Recruit, train and manage a sales team.
• Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales team to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met.
• Train new employees to use company software and successful sales techniques
• Achieve sales targets, including number of new signings, active merchants, and transaction volume, through own individual sales and effectively motivating all team members.
• Research ways to penetrate new markets and develop new sales strategies
• Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan
• Lead regular meetings with sales team and one-on-one coaching
• Monitor and manage equipment rental and discount rates to ensure profitability.
• Collect merchant information through team members to update CRM in a timely manner.
• Communicate with internal departments for boarding processes, ensuring all supporting information and documents are accurate, complete, and authentic.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders for merchant requirements, complaints, and other feedbacks.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and other periodic reports to help management improve sales plans.
• Channel non-standalone leads to other teams.

What you bring to the table:

• Prior territory and team management experience in B2B environment.
• Prior experience in recruiting team members and providing skill training to inexperienced sales.
• A good mentor, trainer, motivator to support a team of 10+ salespeople achieve ambitious sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Business acumen and strong leadership to build a highly productive team in designated territory.
• Prior payment industry, IT, eCommerce experience is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter.
• Proficiency in English is required, while other language such as French would be an asset.
• Access to a vehicle would be a definite asset.
