The Regional Sales Manager - Surface Pumps position is a key role for PCM Artificial Lift Solutions ("PCM"). The role is responsible for Sales Management, Business Development, Sales and Technical Support for the Canadian market. The role encompasses responsibility for market segments including Surface Transfer Pumping - O&G, Industrial Surface Pumps, Food Pumps and Food Systems. Position reports to Vice President - Sales.
Key Responsibilities and functions:
Responsible for the growth and development of sales revenue and margin of the assigned territory
Financial reporting with view to the regional P&L, working together with accounting team to understand and manage financial performance within the territory.
Sales Management for assigned territory and strategic customer coverage - direct to customer and Distribution channels
Recruit Sales Professionals for specific geography
Manage sales performance including quote pipeline, closing ratios, market strategies & product placement, commission plans, and strategic selling strategies
Quoting and cost estimate review.
Territory planning.
Order management in conjunction with administrative support team.
Commercial review for contracts, service agreements and customer pricing arrangements.
Develop market, product and aftermarket sales plans with Management.
Maintain strong relationships and performance oversite of Distribution partners within the assigned territory - includes business planning, technical/commercial support and performance reporting.
Track and communicate applicable metrics and monthly reporting as defined by Management.
Review and interpret commercial terms and contracts - negotiate appropriate language and terms to manage PCM ALS's commercial risk in conjunction with Country Senior Management, Corporate staff and legal counsel where applicable.
Facilitate technical support and aftermarket assistance between the sales team, the service team and assigned product managers.
Facilitate partnerships from various business functions (Executive Management, Sales, Marketing Engineering, Product & Project Management & Service) within the company
Contribute to the annual budget processes, as well as regular forecasts where required.
Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.

Other reporting as assigned.
