Regional Pre-sales Manager (RPM)

reporting to Director of Product & Portfolio Management. The role is based out of Montreal, QC, and is fully remote.


The Jeppesen ForeFlight Global Pre-sales organization is comprised of regional teams that conduct pre-sales activities, opportunity and account planning activities, consultancies, and select post-sale activities to drive business growth and help customers solve complex problems using our vast portfolio of software solutions.

Regional Pre-sales Manager (RPM)

is responsible for team and execution leadership across the Latin America region. As a key leader in our go-to-market organization, the RPM is an inspirational team leader skilled in driving business growth through priority management, resource management, capacity management, and strategic account management leveraging a team of solution and technical experts to meet customer needs. The RPM partners closely with Sales and Go-to-Market leaders to align pre-sales execution with strategic sales goals.

Position Responsibilities:



Leads Jeppesen ForeFlight pre-sales activities within the Latin America region. Leads as an inspirational people leader, partner, collaborator, and strategic thinker exhibiting an open mindset and the ability to thrive through change management. Develop resource plans and strategies to meet regional business needs: recruiting, hiring, and retention plans to ensure capacity for near-term pre-sales demand and long-term sales forecasts. Assigns pre-sales resources to customer engagement requests using data and insights while considering business and customer outcomes. Plans for near-term and strategic long-term pre-sales demand. Manages and provides status on on-going pre-sales activities within the region. Develops and reviews key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and adjusts pre-sales plans to address business needs. Uses digital tools to manage and monitor pre-sales account activities, opportunity pipeline, and other supported activities. Assists sales leadership in the identification of future sales opportunities. Global travel for customer engagements and internal business needs (~20%), primarily in Latin America.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):



7+ years' experience leading sales, pre-sales, services, or product teams. Prior experience leading teams in support of airline, aviation, or aerospace customers. Must be legally able to work in Canada. Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):



Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Experience working with SalesForce and related CRM, resource management, customer support, and/or other digital go-to-market enabling tools. Prior experience within flight operations, flight deck operations, commercial airline operations, or withing a B2B business supporting airline customers. Product knowledge of Jeppesen-ForeFlight solutions. Excellent communication skills across team, customer, stakeholder, and executive meeting environments. Ability to interact with different cultures and at different leadership levels with ease.

est responsable de diriger les equipes et de superviser leurs activites dans la region de l'Amerique latine. En tant que leader cle de notre organisation de mise en marche, le RPM est un chef d'equipe inspirant, reconnu pour stimuler la croissance des entreprises grace a la gestion des priorites, a la gestion des ressources, a la gestion des capacites et a la gestion strategique des comptes en s'appuyant sur une equipe d'experts en solutions et en technologies afin de repondre aux besoins des clients. Le RPM collabore etroitement avec les responsables des ventes et de la mise en marche pour aligner l'execution de l'avant-vente sur les objectifs strategiques de ventes.

Responsabilites du poste :



Dirige les activites d'avant-vente de Jeppesen ForeFlight dans la region de l'Amerique latine. Agit comme un leader inspirant, un partenaire, un collaborateur et un stratege, faisant preuve d'ouverture et de capacite a reussir dans un contexte de changement. Elabore des plans de ressources et des strategies pour repondre aux besoins regionaux : recrutement, embauche et plans de fidelisation afin de garantir la capacite necessaire pour la demande d'avant-vente a court terme et les previsions de ventes a long terme. Attribue les ressources d'avant-vente aux demandes d'engagement des clients, en utilisant les donnees et les analyses tout en tenant compte des resultats d'affaires et de la satisfaction de la clientele. Planifie la demande d'avant-vente a court terme ainsi que la demande strategique a long terme. Gere et rend compte de l'etat des activites d'avant-vente en cours dans la region. Elabore et revise les indicateurs de rendement cles (Key Performance Indicators, KPI) afin d'evaluer la performance de l'entreprise et ajuste les plans d'avant-vente pour repondre aux besoins de celle-ci. Utilise des outils numeriques pour gerer et suivre les activites des comptes avant-vente, l'entonnoir de prospection et les autres activites prises en charge. Collabore avec la direction des ventes pour identifier des futures occasions de vente. Deplacements internationaux pour repondre aux besoins des clients et de l'entreprise (environ 20 %), principalement en Amerique latine.

Qualifications de base (competences/experience requises) :



Au moins 7 ans d'experience dans la direction d'equipes de ventes, d'avant-vente, de services ou de produits. Experience prealable en direction d'equipes au service de clients du secteur du transport aerien, de l'aviation ou de l'aerospatiale. Doit etre legalement autorise a travailler au Canada. Ne doit presenter aucun risque lie a la protection des marchandises controlees.

Qualifications preferentielles (competences/experience souhaitees) :



Maitrise de l'espagnol et/ou du portugais. Experience avec SalesForce et les systemes de gestion de la relation client (Customer Relationship Management, CRM), la gestion des ressources, le soutien a la clientele et/ou d'autres outils numeriques de mise en marche. Experience prealable dans les operations de vol, les operations en cabine de pilotage, les operations aeriennes commerciales ou dans le commerce electronique interentreprises (business-to-business, B2B) au service de clients du secteur du transport aerien. Connaissance des solutions Jeppesen ForeFlight. Excellentes aptitudes en communication dans des environnements impliquant des equipes, des clients, des parties prenantes et des rencontres de direction. Capacite a interagir avec differentes cultures et a collaborer a divers niveaux hierarchiques.
