About the role
As Regional Nurse Manager, you will - support the creation of the nursing services culture and approach that is rooted in Indigenous traditions, community-driven and nation-based in a regional setting, working within the context of the Regional Team and guided by the Regional Health and Wellness Plan.
You are the primary FNHA contact for regional nursing services, working proactively and in collaboration with the regional team, communities and regional health system providers to provide consultative and operational leadership at the regional level to support communities in establishing interdisciplinary health service teams. Additionally, you will lead nursing engagement activities within the regional team and the regional health and wellness system guided by the Regional Health and Wellness Plan to support a customer-owner service environment. You manage FNHA remote nursing operations, professional practice, education and program supports for nurses working in in FNHA nursing stations or FNHA health stations, regardless of employer, and identifies and shares innovative and best practices for nursing and team based integrated care in a First Nations context and setting.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be -
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
A Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) is an asset or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse in BC
Possession of a BCCNM practicing license
Significant, recent and relevant experience in supervision and provision of nursing programs and services, including nursing in remote communities (usually acquired over a minimum period of 8-10 years)
Significant, recent and relevant experience in community and individual health and continuity of care planning relative to Nursing programs and services (usually acquired over a minimum period of 8-10 years)
Experience working with First Nations communities and leadership

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
