RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Performance Expectations

  • The RMM is accountable for taking a highly collaborative approach to working with Regional Managing Partner (RMP) Fraser Valley and the service and client group leaders within the region, to understand their business objectives and translate these into marketing strategies, plans and activities which drive our brand awareness, positioning and create sales opportunities for our practitioners
  • Collaborate with the Western Canada Regional Marketing team including Senior Director Marketing - Western Canada, other Western Marketing team members and the National Marketing teams to deliver impactful campaigns and in-market activities for the region.
  • Work with and adhere to firm processes and best practices, including the use of consistent marketing and budget templates
  • Lead the annual marketing plan development including budgeting and lead the execution of all office, client group and service-specific marketing strategies, programs and activities for the region to support existing client retention, targeted pursuit plans and referral mapping Develop creative campaign briefs and lead concept development phases
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic sponsorships of all sizes
  • Organize client prospect programs in conjunction with internal resources and internal marketing-related initiatives
  • Maintain brand and positioning with MNP properties and utilize marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment.
  • Understand vendor arrangements/structures and develop and maintain those relationships
  • Build strategic alliances and foster marketing relationships with key stakeholders in the external marketplace
  • Build profile and relationships in regional marketplace, including with local influencers, media and community (e.g. through attendance at local events)
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
  • Conduct regional marketing intelligence activities such as understanding the competitive environment, MNP market share and brand positioning
  • Maintain awareness of changes to regional marketplace, study economic indicators in the region and identify current and future market trends
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members towards professional and personal development
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
Skills and Experience
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Marketing (or equivalent / similar)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the entire marketing process
  • Experience working in a professional services, Agriculture or First Nations sector or marketing agency is considered an asset
  • Understanding and experience working in the local marketplace is an asset
  • Understanding of how to build and reinforce effective working relationships within and across teams and with key stakeholders
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Possess strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Possess business development skills and knowledge
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Database Marketing Software and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with web, digital and social media platforms
  • A valid driver's license is necessary as travel will be required
