Regional Manager
to lead and support our store teams across Northern Ontario.
About Position
The
Regional Manager
is responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and compliance of multiple cannabis retail locations within a designated Ontario region. This role ensures operational excellence, team leadership, regulatory adherence, and profitability. Acting as a key liaison between store operations and head office, the Regional Manager supports Store Managers and drives the consistent execution of the company's mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development
Lead and coach Store Managers and their teams with feedback, recognition, and mentorship
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and progressive training
Conduct regular store visits (minimum 3x/month/store) and performance evaluations
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture
Ensure ongoing CannSell certification and training compliance
Support internal promotions and succession planning
Operational Oversight & Compliance
Ensure AGCO, Health Canada, and company policy compliance
Conduct store audits (compliance, safety, merchandising, inventory)
Oversee POS, payroll, scheduling, SOPs, and daily operations
Respond to AGCO inspections and ensure accurate store documentation
Promote workplace health & safety
Sales & Financial Performance
Analyze KPIs (conversion rates, average basket size, labor costs, etc.) to optimize store performance.
Collaborate with Store Managers to implement sales strategies and maximize revenue.
Ensure financial targets and labor budgets are met or exceeded across all locations.
Track and reduce shrink, improve inventory accuracy, and execute local marketing initiatives.
Customer Experience
Champion a customer-first mindset at every level of store operations.
Lead by example on the sales floor and during customer interactions.
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely, professional resolution.
Collect, review, and implement feedback to enhance the overall customer journey.
Inventory Management & Merchandising
Supervise stock levels, audits, replenishment, and back-of-house organization.
Maintain accurate inventory through weekly and monthly audits and variance investigations.
Execute planograms and merchandising strategies aligned with promotions and brand standards.
Coordinate with brand reps for product launches, events, and display support.
Research market trends and competitors to adjust product mix accordingly.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Assist and Oversee local store marketing, pop-ups, community events, and product launches.
Support social media efforts and drive engagement via promotions and loyalty programs.
Build relationships within the community to drive traffic and brand visibility.
Communication & Reporting
Serve as a communication bridge between corporate leadership and retail staff.
Share updates on sales performance, promotions, compliance, and training.
Provide regular reports to head office regarding store performance, staffing, and incidents.
Maintain open, transparent, and consistent communication with all team members.

Qualifications
3-5 years of multi-store retail management (cannabis industry strongly preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Ontario cannabis retail regulations (AGCO, Health Canada).
Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams (5+ direct reports).
Valid and up-to-date CannSell Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
Criminal background check clearance (required by AGCO).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, and inventory platforms.
Valid Ontario driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Available to work 40+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Job Functions
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, and bend during 8-12 hour shifts
Comfortable working alone or in a team
Must be of legal age to sell cannabis
60% Travel throughout Northern Ontario and or as needed (travel allowance provided)
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to work min of 40 hours a week
Must be available to work Monday to Sunday
A valid drivers license
Essential Job Functions and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift.
Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Must be of legal age to sell Cannabis.

Our operating hours are 7 days a week and may range from 8am to 11:30pm
Full- time hours range : 40 - 44 hours per week or as business dictates
