Roles and Responsibilities


We are currently seeking a Regional Manager Retail Banking Services to join our team on a full-time term basis for 12 - 18 months, supporting

Region 6

:

Beechy, Dinsmore, Elrose, Kyle & Rosetown

. Reporting to the Vice President Retail Banking Services, the Regional Manager Retail BankingServices provides leadership and strategic direction for the delivery of member-facing services across the region. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional member experience while driving operational excellence, growth in retail banking, and alignment with the credit union's vision, values, and goals. This role serves as a bridge between frontline operations and senior leadership, ensuring consistent member service delivery, compliance, and business development within the retail network.

Responsibilities:



Leadership & Team Development:

Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to the Manager Member Service team and the Relationship Advisor team. Build leadership capacity within branch teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Promote a member-first culture that emphasizes service excellence, financial literacy, and relationship building.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee day-to-day retail banking operations across branches within the region. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to support efficiency, consistency, and innovation in member services.

Business Development & Member Experience:

Drive growth in retail banking through proactive support of consumer, commercial and agricultural lending. Oversee and support sales of GICs, deposits, and other financial solutions through Relationship Advisors. Ensure account openings are completed accurately and efficiently, whether by frontline staff or Relationship Advisors, depending on branch needs. Monitor member satisfaction and develop strategies to enhance the overall member experience.

Strategic Alignment & Reporting:

Translate organizational strategy into regional priorities, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. Provide feedback and insights from the regional level to senior leadership, supporting continuous improvement. Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators for retail banking, member services, and lending activities.

Qualifications



Post secondary education in business, agriculture, finance or economics or a related field. Minimum five years of experience in retail banking or credit union operations, with leadership experience overseeing branch teams preferred. Experience in consumer, commercial, and agricultural lending is an asset. Strong understanding of retail banking operations, credit risk principles, regulatory compliance, and lending policy. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams with a focus on service excellence and sales growth. Comfortable managing in a dynamic, multi-branch environment with competing priorities and strategic targets. Experience working with or supporting CRM systems such as Salesforce, Valeyo, or similar platforms is an asset. Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills with high attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to align day-to-day operations with corporate strategy and deliver a consistent member experience across locations. Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region (Beechy, Dinsmore, Elrose, Kyle & Rosetown) as needed.

Pay: $115,600.00-$144,500.00 per year
