Regional Manager ~ Agricultural Manufacturing Industry
Noffsinger Manufacturing Company and our wholly-owned Canadian subsidiary Durabelt is currently searching for a Regional Manager to be based in our Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada facility.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will work closely with our Director of Sales and Director of
Engineering/Operations and key individuals in our other locations to continue to build on Durabelt's long track record of success in manufacturing conveyance solutions for the ag industry. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability of managing a stand-alone business unit autonomously and successfully. This position must work in a team environment to maintain existing customer relationships and identify/pursue new opportunities while continuing to deliver superior service to our customer base. The successful candidate will make contributions in the field and on the manufacturing floor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Works closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the attainment of company goals and objectives.
Provide leadership both in the manufacturing plant and in the field.
Foster long-term relationships with customers and work to develop new relationships.
Develop and execute sales strategy, identifying critical to success factors and corresponding actions from a keen understanding of the agriculture industry.
Achieve results and continue to grow sales despite any challenges or obstacles.
Have astute communication skills with the ability to represent the Noffsinger value proposition in a compelling and impressive manner to customers and prospects.
Develop strategies, assess current customer base, and create a vision for new growth opportunities and expansion.
Contribute to the development of a marketing plan and associated marketing materials to drive sales growth.
Develop a thorough understanding of pricing schedules and customer contracts.
Work with customer representatives to resolve quality, delivery, and accounts receivable issues.
Represent the Company, as appropriate, in its relationships with major customers, prospects, and key influencers to promote a positive image in the industry and to promote business growth and success.
Work closely with the production manager to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPI's are being met or exceeded.
Forecast raw material needs and market trends in order to effectively manage the supply chain.
Maintain safety compliance, working with provincial and federal government agencies and officials as needed, while actively seeking out ways to improve employee safety.
Manage capital investment projects as required.
Actively seek out opportunities and support efforts to continually improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
Five to ten years of well-rounded manufacturing operations experience preferred. Significant agriculture industry experience preferred with a background in manufacturing.
High-energy, self-sufficient individual with an established track record of success within an ag-related organization preferred. Must be a self-starter and a change management agent.
Strong relationship development skills are required in addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a "hands-on", "roll up your sleeves" sales style.
Bachelor's degree in agribusiness, general business, or engineering.
Experience with financial statements to understand the health of the business unit.
Significant detail orientation.
Experience with and understanding of ERP systems.
Must be an individual of high integrity and ethics.
Must display a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and SENSE of URGENCY.
Must be able to work from the Montague PEI facility and travel as required.
Must live or be willing and able to relocate to Prince Edward Island, Canada.
