We are seeking a Regional Manager, Field Sales to join our team in this exciting new area of business. Based out of our Markham, ON office and/or home office, and reporting into the Director, National Field Sales, this role will be responsible for managing the performance of an assigned territory. With an accountability to deliver against defined targets, you will lead and motivate your team, while ensuring adherence to tactical plans. Your depth of field sales experience will support your ability to identify opportunities in the sales funnel, and bring forward insights to ensure your teams success in meeting sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales management, a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define regional sales targets and KPI\'s based on the national field sales strategy
  • Responsible for the overall performance and output of the field sales teams. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and trends
  • Manage leads distribution strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Report intelligence collected in the field such as brand information and competitive intelligence. Use data to create valuable insights that translate into tactics in the field
  • Travel to regions to audit teams\' performance; providing valuable feedback to enhance delivery against objectives
  • Provide direct coaching to Team Managers and establish a performance-based culture
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, and provide relevant insights to senior management
  • Work with cross functional teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives
  • Monitor and control expenses within the allocated budget, identifying areas for cost optimization without compromising sales effectiveness
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 5+ years field sales leadership experience; preferably within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong knowledge of broadband services, telecommunications infrastructure, and related technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • A skilled people leader and operator; can translate vision into operating plans for others
  • Proven coaching skills that translate into enthusiasm and drive from teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies
  • Results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Technical expertise with CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Proven history of process development and procedural enhancements
  • Data driven, very experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be open to frequent travel in Ontario and Manitoba
  • Be available to travel across Canada as necessary
