ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Oversee all day-today HR operations including the HRIS system.
  • Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth including but not limited to human rights, conflict and performance.
  • Primary contact for all leaders and employees in areas related to change management, employee relations, performance management, human resources best practices and employee engagement
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment including posting jobs, screening, conducting interviews and reference checks, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, and employee onboarding.
  • Manage annual performance review process including supporting leadership with employee performance review action plans.
  • Ensure compliance and management of employee records.
  • Remain update to date on industry best practices and compliance requirements including leading changes, modifications to existing policies and programs. adopting best practices.
  • Drafting employment documentation including memoranda, correspondence, reports, proposals, job descriptions and warnings.
  • Resolve work-related problems by serving as the liaison between leadership and employees through handling questions.
  • Completing headcount, turnover and other reports as required.
  • Manage, mentor and develop human resources staff.
ABOUT YOU
  • 2-5 years of progressive human resources management experience is required to be successful in this role
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources is required
  • Experience with all facets of Human Resources, such as disability and WCB, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, training and development, policy and program development and implementation, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement programs, etc.
