What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

We are looking for a seasoned Regional Highway Lead to help grow our business in the Ottawa office which serves Eastern Ontario and Northern Ontario. A candidate with hands-on project management experience with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) preliminary and/or detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects can shape this position to a model they know is successful. In this role, you will take on a leadership role in our highways business involving both conventional and design/build projects for MTO highway programs. We have a long history of working for the MTO on highway improvement projects and want to take advantage of the relationship to grow this business regionally and provincially. Supported by a strong design team, the Regional Highway Lead will be managing design projects upon award, and assisting in the pursuit of new projects.

The position will be based in Ottawa, with flexible work arrangements available.

What Required Skills You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 15 + years of experience delivering major/significant MTO projects
  • Hands-on project management experience for medium and large MTO preliminary and/or detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects, as well as experience with Environmental Assessments
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario
  • Proven background of leading multidisciplinary design teams on challenging, high-profile projects
