We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

AFC is looking for a strong leader to elevate relationships and be dedicated to their team and customers. Our Regional Director is responsible to lead the provision of financial services to customer (dealers and auctions) within a specific geographic area. They should be passionate about growing AFC revenues profitably by increasing the number of customers, expanding the diversification of the region\xe2\x80\x99s portfolios and driving greater penetration of AFC\xe2\x80\x99s financial products, portfolio management, consistent execution of AFC\xe2\x80\x99s goals, change management, employee development, risk management, loss prevention, and expense control are core job functions. This person must have the vision to achieve business goals and must fully engage and develop the financial services team to ensure the team is competent in all aspects of developing and maintaining relationships, processing loans (floor planning), securing and monitoring loans, and collecting receivables.

Your impact:
As the Regional Director you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

Use leadership, management skill, creativity, business development, and assigned available resources to develop a robust pipeline and waterfall management process to achieve the financial and non-financial goals of AFC within the region. The qualified candidate will be powered by passion.

Execute company vision by establishing time specific, measurable, performance goals for their region (pipeline, waterfall, revenue, loss prevention, expense, staff development, etc.) and applying leadership and management skills to achieve them.

Coach, train and develop team members, which may include Market Relationship Managers, Relationship Managers or Portfolio Managers, to utilize all available customer acquisition, retention, and risk mitigation tools.

Train, coach and develop assigned Relationship Manager or Portfolio Managers while monitoring new business growth, opportunity management and sales strategies.

Train, coach and develop assigned Market Relationship Manager while ensuring a consistent message throughout the region, including the Market Relationship Managers sub-region.

Develop a thorough understanding of AFC policies, processes and procedures relative to business development, loan processing, collections, expense control, and staff development.

Oversee efforts of assigned branches to monitor and collect receivables, account for property used to secure loans, and to document business transactions (particularly communications related to \xe2\x80\x9cover credit line\xe2\x80\x9d, late payments, returned checks, note repayments, and \xe2\x80\x9cout of trust\xe2\x80\x9d situations).

Be dedicated to the region by monitoring staffing needs within the region and recruit, hire, train, motivate, and develop members of the financial services teams. There will be a focus on providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to both internal and external customers.

Lead efforts within region to establish and elevate relationships with additional auctions. When an agreement for an onsite LPO is executed, ensures that the new office becomes fully operational quickly and efficiently.

Responsible for handling projects outside the normal regional duties and at times presenting material to a larger group, along with executing on company initiatives and business plans.

Understand the applicable laws and codes for their assigned geographic area and ensures that their branches operate in compliance with them along with conducting audits.

Communicate potential loss situations to Corporate Risk Team and VP of Operations as soon as identified. Directs and oversees efforts within the region to take possession of vehicles or other property used to secure loans and acts as AFC\xe2\x80\x99s agent/representative in legal matters, where directed and as required.

For 50% of the time, travels to each assigned branch and/or with respective Market Relationship Manager or Portfolio Manager within the region. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties, as assigned.

Educational qualifications:

Degree in related field preferred.

Six (6) years in automotive or financial services industry required.

Five (5) years in supervisory or management position required.

Familiarity with concepts, procedures and processes typically used in automotive and financial services industries.

Excellent employee development, change management, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to read and understand basic financial statements.

Proficient in Google Workspace.

Travel up to 50% required.
