Ashfield Canada is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Business Manager to join our team. In this role you will:

  • Lead a sales team of national scope, including in-field and virtual sales representatives
  • Proactively monitor sales activity and effort among sales team, ensuring that the quality and the quantity of sales efforts meet Client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations
  • Conduct regular coaching and field/virtual visits with each member of the sales team providing consistent performance management
  • Ensure team complies to agreed territory call plan and KPIs Manage pharmaceutical representatives\xe2\x80\x99 competencies through Ashfield performance reviews
  • Identify development areas in skills/competencies among sales team and work to improve individual\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities through coaching, development and training plans/programs
  • Provide guidance and feedback on selling skills, product knowledge and territory management
  • Conduct regular Ashfield performance reviews and appraisals
  • Participate in/lead regular touchpoints with the Client to provide updates on the status of the team\xe2\x80\x99s performance, activity, skill development and insights, including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Recruit, interview, and train new hires for the team, where needed.
  • Contribute to strategy development for program optimization
  • Determine and manage team bonus plan
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across various internal and external stakeholders
  • Direct and support with the consistent implementation of various company initiatives


Profile:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required (Business of Sciences preferred)
    3+ years of pharmaceutical sales or pharmaceutical industry experience including marketing, training or analytics
  • A minimum of 1+ years of proven field or virtual sales management experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Ability to travel nationally \xe2\x80\x93 40% of time
  • Bilingual oral/written English/French \xe2\x80\x93 to interact with French speaking Clients and performance manage representatives in a French speaking territory
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (Oral and written)
  • Previous coaching or mentoring experience is an asset
  • Previous client or project management experience is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals to deliver on yearly objectives
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills; at ease working with and interpreting data
  • Solution-oriented, resourceful and proven problem-solving skills
  • Team player, collaborator, ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and tech and digital savvy
