About the Role:
We're hiring for our first
Regional Business Development Manager
to lead the growth of our referral network across the Greater Vancouver Area.
This role is dedicated to identifying, building, and deepening relationships with medical providers and --including physicians, surgeons, and other health professionals--to drive consistent referral volume and unlock new client acquisition across our GTA clinics.
This is a contractor position focused on
strategic outreach and relationship building
to drive consistent referral volume and unlock new client acquisition. You'll be responsible for initiating and nurturing partnerships with:
Doctors' offices
(family physicians, physiatrists, sports medicine clinics, etc.)
HR departments
and
corporate wellness leads
at local companies
Benefits providers
or wellness program decision-makers
Your role will be to introduce WEWELL's services, communicate the value of our holistic approach, and help establish referral channels, wellness initiatives, or workplace partnerships that connect more people with our care model.
You'll design and execute a high-touch area/territory growth plan, and act as a strategic partner to our clinic and marketing teams--all while helping redefine what proactive health can look and feel like.
This role reports directly to the CEO and will work closely with clinic operations, marketing, and data/analytics leaders.
This is a
field-based role
with regular local travel across the GTA and some hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage a territory plan focused on expanding referral networks
Identify and reach out to medical professionals and clinic networks for potential collaboration
Schedule and execute in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and education sessions
Build relationships with HR departments to introduce WEWELL's workplace wellness offerings
Develop and deliver presentations or partnership proposals tailored to each audience
Act as a brand ambassador--clearly articulating WEWELL's mission, services, and unique value
Track outreach activity, follow-ups, and conversions
Work closely with our internal team to align messaging, offers, and partner onboarding
Share insights and feedback from the field to help shape future strategy and offerings
You're a Great Fit If You:
Have 5+
experience in business development, healthcare sales, HR consulting, or medical rep roles
Understand the healthcare and/or wellness ecosystem in Vancouver
Are a strong communicator with confidence in presenting to professionals at all levels
Are proactive, organized, and results-driven
