The Regional Auto Insurance Advisor role requires a commitment to supporting our Teams in and around the Thompson Okanogan and Cariboo areas. Your home base will be at any of the offices in the region and, you will work at different offices and locations in the region providing Auto support in a casual or part time capacity. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to change, have a flexible schedule and have a reliable vehicle. You must hold a minimum Level 1 Insurance License or become licensed and be proficient in BC Auto with a strong background in customer service. Whether filling an Auto vacancy or covering a position where someone has called in sick, the ideal candidate is a self-starter who can go into any office and proactively do what needs to be done.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with clients, colleagues and automobile dealership representatives to grow your professional network

Proactively and creatively offer solutions using a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products while achieving performance targets

Process a wide variety of auto insurance transactions including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more

Develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to our Personal & Commercial Insurance Lines

Qualifications

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions

Weekend and Evening availability, depending on the needs of the branch

Willingness to obtain a Level 1 license
