Aevitas is seeking an experienced and results-driven

Regional Manager

to lead operations at our hazardous waste management facilities in Alberta and British Columbia. Based in Edmonton

,

this role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, financial success, and effective leadership both operations and administrative teams across both sites.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee daily operations and administrative functions at hazardous waste management facilities in Alberta and British Columbia. Lead, mentor, and develop Operations Managers, Supervisors, and Administrative Staff to ensure consistent performance, communication, and alignment with company objectives. Ensure all activities comply with federal, provincial, and municipal environmental regulations and permit requirements. Manage site budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve operational and profitability targets. Foster a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability across both sites. Optimize resource utilization, workflow, and scheduling to enhance operational efficiency. Support and collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning and business development initiatives. Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Oversee preparation and submission of operational, financial, and compliance reports. Champion continuous improvement and employee development initiatives across operations and administration.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration

,

Management, or a related discipline (Environmental Science or Engineering background an asset). Minimum 10years of progressive leadership experience. Proven track record of managing operations with a focus on financial performance, compliance, and people leadership. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Ability to travel between sites in Alberta and British Columbia.
