A great opportunity has opened to join our recently renovated Club Lounge! Located on the 11th floor overlooking the beautiful views of the Darling Harbour and offering the highest grade of comfort and convenience for our guests, we are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to deliver the highest quality Food & Beverage service in a positive and friendly manner and always strive to obtain the maximum efficiency and promote teamwork between all employees.

Hyatt Regency Sydney is the largest upscale full-service hotel in Australia with a total of 878 rooms. The hotel also features our Regency club lounge, Fitness Centre, 272 seat all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar with panoramic views of Darling Harbour and 3,700 square meters of new state-of-the-art meeting facilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both and external and internal guests while anticipate guest\xe2\x80\x99s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service.
• As required, handle basic customer concerns and complaints with empathy and understanding.
• Be attentive and check the quality of food and beverages products to ensure a high-quality F&B product is consistently being produced, adhering to correct food safety standards.
• Ensure HACCP / food safety training is completed and all the HACCP policies & procedures are followed.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of all food items, cooking techniques and know how to describe them to guests.
• Understanding of wines and other beverages, able to offer suggestions.
• Always be aware of selling the department at every opportunity.
• Contribute to the smooth flow between the venue service staff and related departments (kitchens, stewards, bar) and cooperate with them at all times. Remember you are part of a team, so take pride in your teams\' performance.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the Point-of-Sale System, including cashiering responsibilities. Adhere to hotel cash handling policies and procedures when required.
• Ensure cleanliness of FOH and BOH work areas is constantly maintained to a high standard, cleaned and stocked.
• Ensure correct liquor licensing laws are abided by, paying particular attention to intoxicated guests and underage guests.
• Follow standards and procedures correctly, for each task.
• Ensure all furniture, fittings and equipment is maintained serviceable and clean at all times and notify management of all breakages and malfunctioning equipment.
• Communicate all comments and feedback from guests to Shift Leader, Supervisor or Management as soon as practical.
