Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the installation, assembly, operation, maintenance, and repair of transport refrigeration cooling and heating systems. This role requires a solid understanding of industry systems, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components. Diagnose issues with refrigeration units and perform necessary repairs. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient operation of systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience in refrigeration or HVAC technician roles is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus. Experience in plumbing is beneficial for system installations and repairs. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Proficient in welding techniques related to refrigeration systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
