Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and maintenance practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and repair various refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using schematics and diagnostic tools. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems. Perform plumbing tasks related to refrigeration installations and repairs. Execute welding tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in refrigeration systems. Proficiency in HVAC principles and practices. Familiarity with plumbing techniques relevant to refrigeration work. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Previous mechanic experience or appliance repair background is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$54.78 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Work Location: In person
