Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Refrigeration Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and Refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in commercial settings. Journeyman Certificate or Current Apprenticeship Status is ideal. Wage within the scale posted will be determined by Apprenticeship year or Journeyman Status, along with experience

Duties

Install new or replace existing commercial refrigeration systems Perform routine maintenance on systems to ensure they operate efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment Conduct inspections of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems and provide recommendations for improvements or replacements. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.

Skills

Journeyperson certificate in Refrigeration, or current apprenticeship status Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues quickly. Ability to read and understand schematics related to refrigeration and HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Mechanical experience is a plus, demonstrating hands-on technical abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
