Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled licensed Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The Refrigeration Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration equipment, contributing to the safety and productivity of our facilities.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, Rooftop HVAC units and more Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues Conduct plumbing and welding tasks related to refrigeration system repairs or installations Repair or replace mechanical components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves and more Assist with boiler maintenance and repairs as needed Utilize mechanical knowledge to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades

Requirements

Proven experience minimum of 5 years as a Refrigeration Technician or similar mechanic role with a strong background in HVAC systems Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair techniques Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively Mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration components and systems Experience with maintenance procedures for industrial equipment Construction or appliance repair experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Relevant certifications or licenses in refrigeration or HVAC are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 50 per week
