Job Description

Position: Refrigeration Technician
Location: Pointe-Claire
Salary: Up to $90,000
Shift: Day shift from Sunday to Wednesday (4 x 10 hours)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal functioning of our data centers, which are known for their efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in refrigeration
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical systems such as electrical distribution systems and HVAC systems
- Prior experience as a Refrigeration Technician in a data center is highly desirable
- Willingness to participate in a 10-week daytime training program

Responsibilities:

- Operate, maintain, and repair critical systems including UPS, PDUs, diesel generators, automatic transfer equipment, building controls, chillers, and computer room air handling units
- Generate and update reliability reports to meet capacity targets and ensure 100% uptime
- Develop work methods, standard operating procedures, and emergency procedures for all maintenance activities
