Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport refrigeration systems and a solid understanding of mechanical and HVAC principles. This role requires hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in transport units Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment to ensure efficient operation Perform routine maintenance checks on reefer systems to prevent breakdowns. Collaborate with other technicians Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while performing duties. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

Skills

Proficient in transport refrigeration systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures. Familiarity with refrigeration systems, including installation and maintenance practices. Previous mechanic experience is beneficial for troubleshooting various equipment issues. Skills in appliance repair will enhance service capabilities on related projects. Construction experience is advantageous for installation tasks that may require structural modifications. Ability to read schematics accurately to facilitate repairs and installations effectively.

Pay: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
