What we are looking for:

Valid 313A refrigeration licence or 313A apprenticeship preferred Minimum 3 years COMMERCIAL SERVICE experience (walk in coolers , freezers and air conditioning) preferred Ozone Depletion Prevention certificate Valid drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract Proven strong diagnostic skills Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude Available to work flexible hours along with the ability to operate well under pressure Must be able to understand electrical and plumbing concepts Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills English language proficiency (read, write, speak, comprehend) Knowledge of South-Western Ontario and Hamilton area

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC units. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Maintain records of service and repairs performed on equipment. Adhere to safety protocols while working with tools and machinery.

Summary

As a 313A Refrigeration Service and Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Reporting to the HVAC supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Your premium skills in plumbing and welding, along with relevant abilities in equipment repair and schematics, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
