Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various refrigeration systems. This role is essential in ensuring that our refrigeration units operate efficiently and effectively, providing optimal service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, appliances, and refrigeration units to determine necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
• Plumb refrigeration lines as needed for installation or repair purposes.
• Weld components as required during repairs or installations.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to maintain high standards of safety while performing repairs and installations.
• Experience in appliance repair, including troubleshooting common issues.
• Familiarity with welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs.
• Understanding of boiler operations is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.63-$44.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Licence/Certification:

• air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
