Overview of Position:

Cobra Mechanical is looking for Journeyman HVAC / Refrigeration Technician. The HVAC / Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and Refrigeration systems for various commercial and industrial projects.


Travel within Manitoba, Northwest Territories, and across Canada is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Install heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment Repairs to defective refrigeration and HVAC equipment and systems Maintain jobsites, tools, and materials Prepare written material lists as required May be required to work at heights, indoors or outdoors, or in confined spaces. Always adhering to safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess a red seal in the Refrigeration and AC Mechanic - Commercial trade Gas A or B ticket is an asset but not required Sheet metal installation an asset but not required Experience in commercial and Industrial HVAC / Refrigeration installation and maintenance Valid Drivers License Working knowledge of all safety practices associated with the trade Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications Demonstrates strong verbal and written communications skills Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools associated with the trade

Other Qualifications:

Must be aware of the physical demands of the position Must have good coordination and manual dexterity Willing to work as part of team or independently with little direction Customer service orientated Reliability to commute

Work conditions:

Travel to remote locations is required, ability to lift 50+ lbs, required safety equipment, hazards and chemicals associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours and overtime as needed.

Schedule:
