Job Description

Major Refrigeration Ltd. is expanding and currently seeking Apprentices and Journeyperson Refrigeration Technicians to join our dynamic team. Founded in 2012, by two experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Mechanics, Major Refrigeration Ltd. is based out of Grimsby, Ontario and has grown to a team of over 160 employees

What we are looking for:

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints Experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units, chillers, etc.) Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills


Qualifications:

313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic/Apprentice Gas Technician (G2 or G1) certification, preferred Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification, required Valid G driver's license and clean driving record Physical ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and climb ladders as required
