Calian is assembling a talent pool for future full-time opportunities as Refrigeration and Mechanical Systems Technicians (HVAC/R Tech) to support facilities and operational environments in defense-related settings. Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Perform routine inspections and testing of mechanical and refrigeration components. Troubleshoot equipment issues and support system diagnostics. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (e.g., refrigerant handling). Maintain tools, equipment, and service records.

Qualifications

High school diploma and/or diploma or certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Technician, or related field. Basic knowledge of HVAC/R systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
