is expanding their repair team in

Fort St. John, BC

and are looking for a well-rounded

Refinish Technician

. In this position you will focus primarily on prepping and masking the vehicle for the paint department. Also provide coverage for the paint department in instances such as high volume and vacation coverage.

Requirements:

Willing to consider registered third or fourth year apprentices. Journeyperson or Red Seal certification is an asset. Previous experience working in an autobody shop required. Strong understanding of management system and shop procedures. Strong knowledge of prepping/painting. Valid drivers license is mandatory.

Career Overview/Responsibilities:

Adhere to all Health and Safety programs and participate in Health and Safety meetings to ensure the shop is in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting. Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting. Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles. Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings. General shop clean up and any other duties required from Location Manager.
