Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus is currently recruiting a Licensed/Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic. The position will be in Dieppe, Moncton, NB. • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs to vehicles to ensure the equipment is available, reliable, and safe to operate
• Perform diagnosis of engine, break, electrical components on vehicles using various diagnostic tools
• Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and equipment
• Installation of new and added on equipment
• Review and complete repairs identified in Inspection Reports
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
• May weld and cut parts using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment
• Perform in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Performing other duties as required

Requirements:

• Truck & Transport Mechanic License/Red Seal Mechanic Certification
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
• 1-3 years of experience in a Mechanic role required; transportation industry preferred
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Basic Computer knowledge in MS Office and maintenance software programs, an asset
• An understanding of government and transportation legislation, policies, and procedures
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• A desire and passion to continuously learn new things

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $34.00-$36.00 per hour Benefits:
