as a key member of our service team, the Red Seal Service Technician helps support the service experience. Our technicians are responsible for working closely with the rest of the service team to learn and execute activities as assigned by the Service Manager or Senior Service Technicians. A Red Seal technician should be motivated to learn and be open to feedback. Here's what you'll deliver:

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned, within the scope of your level and qualifications. Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair. Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors. Perform road tests and safety inspections.

What you'll need to succeed:

Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Agreement with the College of Trades Valid Driver's License (Class G) and a clean driving record Valid Automotive Service Technician (AST) Certification of Qualification, Class A. Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions Strong Aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs Ideally two (2) years minimum as an Automotive Service Technician. One (1) year Brand product experience. Ozone depletion certificate. Dealership experience preferred. Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
