Refrigeration Technician
to join their growing team. With a strong reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction, this company is committed to providing top-tier HVAC and refrigeration solutions to residential clients. The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of residential refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and test refrigeration systems and components according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in residential refrigeration systems
Perform regular maintenance and preventive service on refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance
Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, motors, thermostats, valves, and control systems
Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to test and verify system performance
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions
Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, including handling and disposal of refrigerants in accordance with government standards
Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on work status and system conditions
Collaborate with other technicians and staff to resolve complex mechanical issues
Participate in on-call rotation
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
Refrigeration Certification required
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems
Familiarity with appliance repair, including installation and maintenance tasks
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must have own tools to complete work
Valid driver's license
